Consumo consapevole

La politica la facciamo tutti i giorni,scegliendo cosa comprare; scegliendo a quale societa’ dare i nostri soldi,facendo la raccolta differenziata dei rifiuti,scegliendo come vestirci o cosa mangiare.
E’ facile manifestare,parlare di liberta’ e democrazia,ma parte tutto dalle piccole scelte quotidiane. Bisogna cambiare mentalita’ per cambiare il mondo.

Esempio, LE UOVA!!!





Il codice stampato sopra le uova ci da’ tantissime informazioni e saperlo leggere ci fa’ capire e indirizzare le nostre scelte. CONSUMO CONSAPEVOLE!!!





Il primo numero del codice indica come vengono allevate le galline,e’ molto importante saper riconoscere il tipo di allevamento.
Vi indico i possibili numeri e la loro spiegazione:

numero ‘0′ ALLEVAMENTO BIOLOGICO:

Le galline possono razzolare liberamente sia all’esterno,che all’interno di un capannone. Ogni gallina ha a disposizione dieci metri quadrati di spazio. Il terreno all’aperto deve essere ricoperto da un manto erboso e deve avere un piccolo stagno. Nel pollaio ci sono anche dei galli. Le razze scelte sono tra le piu’ robuste e quindi meno esposte a malattie.Il mangime e’ biologico e la filiera e’ controllata da enti privati. (FANNO LA BELLA VITA!!!)

numero ‘1′ ALLEVAMENTO ALL’APERTO:

Le galline possono muoversi all’aperto per alcune ore. Ogni gallina ha a disposizione quattro metri quadrati di spazio per muoversi.Il terreno all’esterno deve sempre essere coperto da vegetazione. Le uova possono essere covate in nidi o per terra; verranno raccolte succesivamente.

numero ‘2′ ALLEVAMENTO A TERRA:

Anche in questo caso,le galline ovaiole si muovono liberamente,ma in un ambiente chiuso. Ci sono sette animali per metro quadrato e parte del pavimento deve essere cosparso di granaglie.L’illuminazione e’ sempre artificiale e nei capannoni meno arieggiati si puo’ svilluppare un’alta concentrazione di ammoniaca,rendendo le galline aggressive. Per non farsi male gli viene tagliata una parte del becco.

numero ‘3′ ALLEVAMENTO IN GABBIA(o batteria):

Le galline vengono allevate esclusivamente in gabbia.In un metro quadrato ce ne possono stare 18.NON HANNO LO SPAZIO PER MUOVERSI!!.La luce e’ sempre artificiale e tenuta accesa piu’ del dovuto,per aumentare la produzione.Ogni animale ha a disposizione una vaschetta di dieci centimetri per mangiare e bere. L’ALLEVAMENTO ULTRA INTENSIVO COSTRINGE 40 MILIONI DI GALLINE A VIVERE IN GABBIE MOLTO PICCOLE. Le galline ovaiole sono soggette a virus e a gravissime patologie.Dal 1999 al 2000 sono stati abbattuti in Italia 17 milioni di volatili. Questo allevamento verra’ abolito nel 2012. Le uova che mangiamo sono prodotte in Italia(nel codice troverai ‘ IT ‘) e il 97% degli allevamenti e’ di tipo ‘ 3 ‘.

"Tipo di allevamento di galline" = Type of farming of chikens
"Codice del comune" = Code of municipality
"Paese di produzione delle uova" = Country of production of eggs
"Sigla della provincia" = Initial of the province
"Codice dell'allevamento di deposizione" = Code of the deposition

It is easy to manifest, to talk of freedom and democracy, but all begin from small daily chosing. It need to change mentality to change the world.

The printed code up to the eggs give us a lot of information and to know how to read it make us to understand and to address our chosing. AWARE CONSUMPTION!!!


The first number of the code indicate how chickens are reared, and it is very important to know how to recognize the type of farming.
I indicate you the possible numbers and their explenation:

number "0" BIOLOGICAL FARMING:



Chickens can scratch about freely either outside that inside of an hangar. Each chicken has on hand ten square meters of space along. Ground outside must always be covered by a grassy mantle and must to have a small waterhole. In the poultry house there are also cocks. The chosed breeds are the most robust therefore the less exposed to illness. Feedstuff is biological and the weavinf factory is checked by private body. (In short, THEY LIVE UP!!!)

number "1" THE OUT-OF-DOORS FARMING:

Chickens are free to move out of doors for some hours. Each chiken ha on hand four square meters of space to move along. Ground outside must always be covered by vegetation. Eggs can be sit on in nests or on the ground; they will be catched afterwards.

number "2" ON THE GROUND FARMING:

Also in this situation, chickens can move freely, but in a closed ambient. There are seven animals per square meter and part of the floor must be strewn with grit. The lighting is always artificial and in less aired hangar it can develop an high concentration of ammonia, making chikens aggressive. Not to come to grief it is cutted a part of the beak.

number "3" COOP FARMING:

Chikens are reared exclusively in hen-coop. In a quare meter there can be 18 chikens. THEY HAVEN'T SPACE TO MOVE ALONG!!. The light is always artificial and is kept alight more than the due, to increase production. Each animal has on hand a small basin of ten centimeters to eat and to drink. THE ULTRA INTENSIVE REARING FORCE 40 MILLION OF CHIKENS TO LIVE IN VERY SMALL HEN-COOP. Good layer chikens are subject to virus and dire patology. Since 1999 to 2000 have been destroyed in Italy 17 million of winged. This type of rearing will be abolished in 2012.

Eggs that we eat in Italy are produced in Italy (in the code you will find "IT") and the 97% of farming is of the type "3".
